Round Fyn Race
Dragonfly 920 EX ”Black Pearl” sailed by Steen Olsen won on handicap overall this year’s Round Fyn Race “Palby FYN CUP”.
21 multihulls were entered for the race, however due to extreme hard weather conditions about 30% of all boats (monohulls and multihulls) didn’t start or finish the race.
9 out of 10 starting Dragonflys finished the race.
First boat to finish was “Dragonfire”, a special 28’ one-off sailed by Jens Quorning.
Dragonfly 28 “Silver lightning” sailed by Henrik Bøje did very well, but had to accept an 1 hour penalty on the elapsed and corrected time for an early start.
One VX 40 “Trifork” and one special 40’ one-off trimaran, “Carbon3” did not finish the race.
