Watski Two Star Race
Tina and Jens Thuesen (almost) defended their title from 2005 in one of the toughest two-handed sailboat races in Scandinavia. They participated in the Watski Two Star 300 NM Race across the rough Skagerrak Sea in a Dragonfly 1200 which they actually named "Skagerrak" after this famous and since old times feared waters.
The race takes place between Denmark and Norway. Skagerrak won the second leg of the race on both sail and corrected time. The conditions were tough with sustained 35 to 40 knots of wind and challenging waves. A lot of boats were damaged and half of the participants had to give up. Among the multihulls, only two boats completed the race - one of them a Dragonfly 1200!
